With my compliments ...

Let me explain. I've put a lot of work and care into making this the album I wanted it to be – one that I think you will appreciate much more because of the effort. I value my work an awful lot, but there are ways and ways to attribute value to something. In this climate, I feel it is more important that as many people as possible are able to have, love, and listen to the album than it is for me to make 99¢ a song and potentially miss out on a broader audience. Let me quote an author who, in my opinion, framed the argument perfectly:

For me – for pretty much every writer – the big problem isn't piracy, it's obscurity ... Of all the people who failed to buy this book today, the majority did so because they never heard of it, not because someone gave them a free copy. Cory Doctorow

Those of you willing and able to support my music can buy the CD right HERE through my site, and I give you my genuine thanks. Those of you who can't pay or don't wish to, please help yourself to the album (link below)– and enjoy it. All I ask is that you spread the word for me: Tweet about it, tell your Facebook, MySpace and Bebo friends, and by all means share the album and encourage others to do the same. Remember, you can always support me in other ways by buying the book or any of the other merchandise through my shop or coming along to one of my gigs.

That's it. I'm glad we had this chat.

Colin.

I won't pass on your email address to anyone else, I promise. And if you don't receive the link straight
away do check your spam folder as some silly computers think all automatically sent emails are spam.)
